An update on tenancy issues too, in addition to the Government’s six-month moratorium on evictions from commercial and residential premises.

While rent must currently continue to be paid, the Government is encouraging landlords and tenants to negotiate and agree new terms as required. The National Cabinet is close to issuing a code or set of rules around residential and commercial rents and we will keep you updated.
